Are there any active discount codes for Coursera?

Yes, Coursera does offer discounts from time to time—especially around major sales events like Black Friday, seasonal holidays, or the start of the academic year. Occasionally, some courses are also made temporarily free. The best way to stay in the loop is to check their official site directly or sign up for their newsletter, since that’s usually where new offers are announced first.

Where can I enter a discount code on Coursera?

If you’ve got a promo code, you’ll be able to enter it during the checkout process. After you hit “Enroll” on a course, you’ll be taken to the payment page. Look for a field that says something like “Apply promo code”—just type it in there, and if it’s valid, the discount will be applied right away.

Does Coursera offer discounts for students or teachers?

They do offer some perks for people in education. For instance, students can sometimes access free courses through programs like “Coursera for Campus,” depending on whether their school is partnered with Coursera. Teachers also have access to certain tools and resources, and can even create or share their own courses on the platform.

Can I get free courses on Coursera with a promo code?

It happens now and then, but it’s not super common. That said, many courses offer a free “Audit” option, which lets you view all the video content at no cost—you just won’t get a certificate unless you pay. If covering the fee is an issue, Coursera also gives you the option to apply for financial aid on most courses.

Do discount codes work for Coursera Plus subscriptions too?

Yes, but less often. Discounts for Coursera Plus appear mostly during promotional periods – like New Year’s or Back to School. When they do, they can significantly reduce the price for an entire year. It’s worth keeping an eye on the offers, because they’re not permanent.

Are discount codes from third-party sites valid?

Some yes, some no. Honestly, many of the codes found on third-party sites are expired or simply don’t work. If you find a code, try it – you have nothing to lose. But the safest source is still Coursera directly or their official newsletter.

How to use a COURSERA promo code:

Coursera promo codes can be redeemed on the checkout page, before completing the payment for your course or subscription. First, add the course or program you wish to enroll in to your cart, then proceed to checkout. On the checkout page, locate the “Promo code” or “Discount code” field, where you can enter the exact code and click “Apply” to confirm it. The discount will be automatically calculated and deducted from the total amount due, allowing you to complete your enrollment at the discounted price.
